Bristol Sheeran Marie Palin was born on October 18, 1990 in Wasilla, Alaska, U.S is the second child and eldest daughter of former Governor of Alaska Sarah Palin and her husband, Todd  Palin. Has one older brother (Track Charles James, b. 1989), two younger sisters (Willow Bianca Faye, b. 1995 and Piper Indy Grace, b. 2001) as well as one younger brother (Trig Paxson Van, April 18, b. 2008). Has a son, Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston (born December 27, 2008) with ex-fiancé Levi Johnston.

Bristol Palin Career

After graduating, she worked as a sportscaster for KTUU-TV and KTVA-TV in Anchorage, and as a sports reporter for the Mat-Su Valley Frontiersman, fulfilling an early ambition.

Palin was elected to the Wasilla City Council in 1992 winning 530 votes to 310. She ran for reelection in 1995, winning by 413 votes to 185. Throughout her tenure on the city council and the rest of her political career, Palin has remained a Republican, first registering as such in 1982

Motivated by concerns that revenue from a new Wasilla sales tax would not be spent wisely,Palin ran for mayor of Wasilla in 1996, defeating incumbent mayor John Stein 651 to 440 votes. (reference : wikipedia)
