Joshua Otis "Josh" Turner was born on November 20, 1977 in Origin Hannah, South Carolina, U.S is an American country music singer and actor signed to MCA Nashville Records in 2003, Turner has released four studio albums for the label.

Career information
2001–2004 ( Long Black Train)
After college, his fledgling career got a boost on Dec. 21, 2001, during his debut on the Grand Ole Opry, when he debuted a song he wrote titled "Long Black Train. One month after his Opry debut, Turner signed to MCA Nashville. He released his debut album, Long Black Train in 2003, and thanks to the hit title track, it was certified platinum (for shipments of a million copies) by the end of 2004.
2005–2006 (Your Man)
In 2006, Turner released his sophomore album, Your Man, and the title track reached No. 1 on Billboard's country airplay chart, as did its follow-up, "Would You Go With Me." The album was certified double platinum.
2007–2009 (Everything Is Fine)
Turner's third studio album for MCA Nashville, titled Everything Is Fine, was released on October 30, 2007.The second single from Everything Is Fine, a duet with Trisha Yearwood entitled "Another Try", was released in late January 2008. The title track has since been released as the third single and peaked at #20. Everything Is Fine has been certified gold.
At the end of June, Josh wrapped up recording his fourth album, Haywire. The lead-off single, "Why Don't We Just Dance", which was released on August 12, 2009
2010–present
On September 27, 2010, Turner shot the video for "I Wouldn't Be a Man" in Nashville, which will be the third single from Haywire. Josh's fifth studio album is expected for release in late 2011
